MBT Restaurant Management has launched its third concept on the shores of Mamsha Al Saadiyat

Raclette Brasserie & Café – a tropical unwinding destination


After two successful launches this year, MBT Restaurant Management is marking its name in the F&B industry by adding a new concept to the brand’s growing portfolio. Located in Mamsha Al Saadiyat, the beach-front development in Saadiyat’s Cultural District, MBT RM’s latest endeavor ‘Raclette Brasserie & Café’ is bound to make a presence on the coastal promenade.


Mamsha Al Saadiyat is a luxurious waterfront featuring a high-end residential area situated in Abu Dhabi’s cultural district. This hub will soon also be home to a diversity of cultural experiences and destinations hence choosing this location for the brasserie.


Raclette is a glimpse of living a casual beach experience in a setting that is a collaborative blend between the seaside and the jungle. This destination is a laid back yet interactive dining experience that provides an upmarket cocktail culture with the familiarity of an approachable beach bar venue, which Abu Dhabi has grown to love so much. A place that is equally perfect for early risers with delicious breakfast offerings, sunset sessions for a drink and snack after the beach or work. The décor consists of a warm and exotic look, covered with bright wood and tropical art throughout the venue. The centralized bar gives a seamless experience where the drinks effortlessly compliment the food.

The vision of the cultural district with gems such as The Louvre inspired the conceptualization of Raclette; a space where parisian aesthetics have been translated into a homegrown brand – one that allows for its residents and visitors to step away from the city’s hustle & bustle and into their third place. 30 years and 3 continents later; Christoph Schaper, has joined MBT RM as Head Chef of ‘Raclette Brasserie & Café’. Chef Chris has previously held positions at various renowned establishments in the capital and has a well-rounded understanding of the region. Seasoned by international F&B experience, he will be bringing in an exciting French culinary vision to Abu Dhabi’s food scene.


“Working on this project has presented its challenges, but the aptitude of what the concept will be bringing has pushed us to persevere. My role entailed managing and supervising the execution process of the project starting the moment the ID consultant handed over the ID package throughout the tender and project award process up until the final hand over to the operations team. We have worked alongside some of the best firms in the industry and must say that the end result was impeccable - we couldn’t be prouder of how this project has come into fruition.
