MBT Restaurant Management celebrates two great achievements at the What’s On Awards 2022

The rising F&B group has just added yet another two key achievements to its growing portfolio.


The What’s On Awards attracts hundreds of entries from outlets and individuals hoping to take home a coveted trophy. Attended by the crème de la crème of the country’s hospitality and entertainment professionals, it is the industry’s most glamorous night of the year.


MBT RM’s homegrown French brand Raclette Brasserie & Café has won the What’s On Newcomer Of The Year Award. When the outlet was conceptualized, its vision was creating a space allowed for residents and visitors to step away from the city’s hustle & bustle and into their third place - an unwinding destination that brings a comforting vibe. Raclette is proud to have earned the public’s admiration and realize the outcomes of its vision.


According to What’s On “There is no established formula for ‘making it’ on the Abu Dhabi dining scene, trends come and go, the popularity of locations ebbs and flows. It’s a perfect storm of an incalculable number of variables. Achieving success here is therefore more of an art, than a science. And the cleanest example of that art that we have seen in the past year, is Raclette Brasserie & Café. Found, appropriately enough, on Jacques Chirac Street in the thriving new foodie hub of Mamsha Al Saadiyat, this impossibly handsome beachfront venue has been the talk of the town since opening. On the menu are a roll call of scintillating grills, Mediterranean flavour thills, and of course, lava lakes of that melted eponymous cheese.”


The group’s first stand-alone restaurant Beirut Sur Mer was born during the global pandemic, and was perceived by many as space that brought back positivity and happiness amidst the difficult conditions. We are so glad to announce that Beirut Sur Mer has one The What’s On Favorite Middle Eastern Restaurant Award.
